The Prescription Plus program provides unparalleled value to patients in the fred’s
Pharmacy community. The program offers more than 300 generic prescriptions
to patients for only $4 while also providing savings on other prescriptions. Signing
up is easy, and there are no claim forms or referrals to worry about. Plus fred’s
Pharmacy makes it easy to transfer an old prescription from another
pharmacy. Visit any fred’s Pharmacy to enroll. To locate the one nearest

Who is eligible for this program?
The Prescription Plus program is available to both insured and uninsured patients
in any fred’s Pharmacy. The program can offer relief to insured patients
whose current plans have been exhausted, who experience high co-pays, or who have
prescriptions that are not covered by their current plan.
The Prescription Plus program provides exceptional value to local businesses and
organizations that include employees, members, volunteers and their dependents.
Often, business owners or heads of local organizations cannot offer their employees
or members prescription coverage. The Prescription Plus program is a healthcare
solution. Business owners or organizations as a whole can enroll in the Prescription
Plus program to offer their employees or members the savings and value.
What prescriptions are covered?
The Prescription Plus program offers savings on more than 300 generic prescriptions
as well as many brand prescriptions. When ordered by a physician, insulin, syringes
and other over-the-counter medications are covered by the Prescription Plus program.

What does it cost to participate?
Currently there is no annual fee to participate in the Prescription Plus program.
How does a patient enroll?
Patients can enroll in the Prescription Plus program by visiting any fred’s Pharmacy
and completing a simple enrollment form. fred’s Pharmacy will never
sell or share patients’ personal information. fred’s Pharmacy team
members also make it easy for a patient to transfer current prescriptions from other
pharmacies.
How long does it take for a patient to receive
his or her card?
Once a patient has completed and submitted the enrollment form, the Prescription
Plus card will be mailed within 15 business days.
What if a patient has questions or concerns?
Pharmacists and team members at fred’s Pharmacy can help a patient
with any question. Should a fred’s Pharmacy team member be unable
to assist a patient, all questions or concerns can be directed to
