Children’s Miracle Network – Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals. The 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals serve children in their communities by providing highly specialized care they need.

United Way - Since 1999 Fred’s employees have participated in fundraising for this worthy cause.

MIFA – MIFA (Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association) offers a variety of nurturing services to the Mid-South such as empowering homeless families, sustaining the independence of the elderly by offering MIFA Meals, and improving the lives of the youth in our communities by developing support systems such as the Mentoring Program Many Fred’s employees have served as volunteer mentors with teens in a 1-year supportive program that has involved educational fieldtrips, interactive activities, and new friendships with an outstanding group of teens from inner-city communities.

4th Friday Health Fairs – This health initiative was created especially for our customers. This concept consists of a series of health fairs held at select Fred’s pharmacy locations on the fourth Friday of every month. Various services are offered each month such as: blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol and glucose screening, immunizations, and Medicare Part D education.
